In Transit est un jeu pour un à huit voyageurs dans lequel les participants sont invités dans un espace intime pour voyager vers une des destinations prévues : Paris, Montréal, New York, Buenos Aires, Cincinnati, Rotterdam, Vienna, Prague, Berlin, Oslo, Rome, Neerijnen ou Hollywood. Van de Geer interprète les histoires des participants à un niveau personnel et intime afin d’établir une bonne connexion avec son auditoire. Son but est de transformer la distance entre l’artiste et le spectateur là où le point de rencontre est la résolution du parcours du participant.

 

In Transit is a game for one to eight travelers, in which participants are invited into an intimate space to travel to one of several destination: Paris, Montreal, New York, Buenos Aires, Cincinnati, Rotterdam, Vienna, Prague, Berlin, Oslo, Rome, Neerijnen or Hollywood. Van de Geer weaves the participants’ stories on a personal and intimate level in order to establish a strong connection with her audience. While performing, her goal is to transform the distance between artist and spectator where the meeting point is the resolution of the participant’s journey.

She was presenting In Transit, an interactive game where the spectator rolls a dice and is transported to a foreign city and given an ethereal guided tour.
